Our second annual Beats & Beers event was held on July 20th this year. The event was designed to give DJ’s a chance to spin at the shop and get together mid-summer. They volunteer their time and skills and we offer them promo, a discount and free beer. This year our DJ’s included Sarkastodon – a DJ and Producer (see profile below) and DJ Slim Macho, a local DJ legend. Rallying up some friends, Sarkastodon got some MC’s on board, and a photographer to take the day to next level status. We got the very talented Riley Harnett behind the lens, Diego Medina on audio and: Decay, Steffie the Artisit,
G Smooth, Reggie Morales, Kielley Koyote and Jamie Piercey on the mics, with a feature of DOC and Ari…Here are some of Riley’s amazing photos that captured the day. The hommies KILLLLEd it!
Thank you again to Dave Connor (@Sarkastodon_Beats), Mark Power (@dj_slimmacho), @Decay, @SteffitheArtist, Greg Hicks (@_gsm00th) Mike Moyst (@Reggie_Morales_), Josh (@Kielleykoyote), Jamie Piercey (@newfriendmusic), Riley Harnett (@rileyharnettphoto), Diego Medina (@diegomedinafatheroftesscurran), Mike Quiggley, Eilis Baker and Alison Rideout(@reign_a_riott).
